Laura Nanette Gambineri-Giese - Generation 2
Founder, Trusted Governance
Laura is the Founder of Trusted Governance, where she helps ultra-high-net-worth families build the human infrastructure behind their wealth — governance frameworks, family constitutions, next-generation integration and the structured dialogue that turns avoidance into alignment. Her conviction is simple: the technical structure and the human structure have to work together, yet most advisory teams address only one. Laura addresses both.
That perspective is grounded in deep technical experience. Alongside Trusted Governance, she is Vice President for UHNWIs & Family Offices at Crown Global Life Insurance Group, advising families and their advisers on Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) in cross-border estate planning with a focus on US and UK tax connections. She is also Managing Partner of VivaInsurance Services LLC, a tied intermediary to Crown Global.
Laura speaks regularly on the international stage on family governance and cross-border wealth. Recent engagements include a guest lecture, "Family Governance in Intergenerational Wealth Planning," during the PPLI Intensive Week at Fudan University School of Finance in Shanghai, and a panel at the AIJA Wealth Lab in Geneva on navigating complex family dynamics through communication and governance. She is also a recurring speaker at the invitation-only client-and-partner retreat of a large, renowned international law firm, presenting on both PPLI and family governance.

Laura represents the second generation of the family's work in this field: she and her father, Riccardo, share not only a daughter–father bond but more than a decade of professional collaboration.
Since becoming a mother in the summer of 2025, Laura treasures time with her husband, child, pets, family and friends. She has a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors — including ethical hunting, which reflects her commitment to sustainability — and is a keen cook, baker and photographer.
Riccardo Gambineri - Generation 1
Co-Founder, Trustsed Governance
Next to being a Co-Founder at Trusted Governance, Riccardo is a Managing Partner at VivaInsurance Services LLC, a tied intermediary to Crown Global Life Insurance Group. Here, Riccardo serves as the President, responsible for the development and marketing of its Private Placement Life Insurance solutions issued by Crown Global and based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Riccardo joined Crown Global from Zurich Insurance Group Ltd., headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was the Head of Private Banking Solutions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Northern and Eastern European countries. He was responsible for developing and distributing tailored private banking insurance solutions.
Riccardo has also held senior management positions at SWIFT, Clearstream Banking, Deutsche Börse AG, Capco, and Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt, where he was Senior Vice President of Investment Banking.
He pursued further and higher education at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart, Germany; the Executive School of Management at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland; and Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium. Riccardo was also awarded a Master of Laws in International Finance and Banking Law with Distinction from the University of Liverpool in England. Additionally, he is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) accredited by STEP.
In the summer of 2024, Riccardo experienced the joy of becoming a grandfather for the first time, a milestone that has brought even more happiness to his life. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and staying informed about current events. Riccardo has a passion for good food and occasionally indulges in motorcycle rides.
Laura and Riccardo recognized a persistent need for robust family governance solutions among the families they have served over the past decades. With a combined experience of over 30 years working with high-net-worth individuals, they founded Trusted Governance to address this critical aspect of wealth management. Their approach extends beyond traditional consultation, embedding continuity into their daily operations by actively involving the second generation alongside their dedicated back-office team, who support day-to-day tasks.
To ensure comprehensive solutions, Laura and Riccardo collaborate with renowned international experts. Their network includes global and local law firms, private banks, wealth managers, family advisory professionals, medical family offices, and coaches. This extensive collaboration spans key jurisdictions such as Switzerland, the UK, the US, Europe, and Asia, enabling them to meet the unique needs of each family they work with.
